Mergers and Acquisitions:
Recruited to spearhead merger efforts combining three agencies to form Humanitri, a human services provider organization. Established budget funded by a mix of grants, contracts and fund development. Streamlining Operations and Cost Control:
Introduced new inventory procedures for an emerging leader in the HVAC industry that reduced branch stock overhead by $10K and streamlined monthly financial processes to maximize cash flow.

Recruited to spearhead and lead the development of Humanitri from the merger phase through organizational design, HR development, and strategic direction. Administer a $1.6M budget. Hire, manage and mentor a team of 4 direct / 25 indirect reports at 8 sites. Establish new corporate headquarters; negotiate employee health and retirement benefits packages, and forge work team to turn universal corporate mission and vision into reality.
* Within the first 30-days of hire, uncovered and resolved a $200K discrepancy that threatened the merger's viability. Reduced operating expenditures and increased income as contingency measures.
* Turned three under-performing organizations into a single, cohesive unit while reverting -$90K of cumulative losses into a 2008 budgeted profit of $34K.

Promoted to Executive Director of Catholic Charities with focus on increasing communication, collaboration, visibility and impact. Defined matrix relationships relative to programs and administration. Administered an $11M budget funded by a mix of grants, contracts and fund development. Coordinated efforts supporting 16 agencies in 28 counties. Hired, managed and mentored 2 direct and 12 indirect reports.
As the organization's first Director of Human Resources, creating and administering benefits for 1,100:
* Conducted supervisory training and employee information-sessions to increase understanding and communication. Ensured equitable treatment for employees by standardizing personnel policies and procedures, creating just wage scales, introducing recruitment / retention programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and regulations, establishing performance evaluation tools, and other programs.
* Established a new self-funded health plan offering expanded benefits. Saved $100K through a combination of reduced premiums, fewer major claims and increased network usage for preventative care treatment.
